Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Advanced Auto Clicker
Welcome to our FAQ page! Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about installing, using, and troubleshooting Advanced Auto Clicker. Our goal is to help you get the most out of our powerful auto clicker. If you can't find your answer here, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
Is Advanced Auto Clicker completely free to use?
Yes, absolutely! Advanced Auto Clicker is 100% free to download and use. We believe in providing a powerful, full-featured auto clicker without any costs, subscriptions, hidden charges, or 'premium' versions. All features are available to all users from the start.
Is Advanced Auto Clicker safe to download and use on my Windows PC?
Yes, your security is our top priority. Advanced Auto Clicker is thoroughly scanned for viruses, malware, spyware, and adware before each release. We guarantee it's clean. Occasionally, Windows SmartScreen or some antivirus programs might show a generic warning for new executables they haven't seen often. If this happens, simply click 'More info' and 'Run anyway' (for SmartScreen) or create an exception in your antivirus if needed. Always download Advanced Auto Clicker directly from our official website (https://autoclickerpc.netlify.app) to ensure you get the legitimate, safe version.
Does Advanced Auto Clicker require installation?
No, Advanced Auto Clicker is a portable application. This means you don't need to install it. Just download the .exe
file, and you can run it directly from any location on your computer or even from a USB drive.
What versions of Windows does Advanced Auto Clicker support?
Advanced Auto Clicker is designed to work on a wide range of Windows operating systems, including Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 7 (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions where applicable). We recommend the 64-bit version of Advanced Auto Clicker for 64-bit Windows systems.
Does Advanced Auto Clicker work on macOS (Mac) or Linux?
Currently, Advanced Auto Clicker is officially developed and supported for Windows operating systems only. We are aware of the interest in versions for macOS and Linux and are considering these for future development. Please check our Downloads page periodically for any announcements regarding new platform support.
Can Advanced Auto Clicker click very fast, like hundreds of clicks per second?
Yes, you can set the click interval in Advanced Auto Clicker down to 1 millisecond. Theoretically, this could allow for up to 1000 clicks per second. However, the actual maximum click speed achievable also depends on your computer's processing power, the responsiveness of the target application or game, and system overhead. For most practical purposes, intervals between 10ms and 100ms are already very fast.
How do I make Advanced Auto Clicker click at a specific X,Y coordinate on my screen?
It's easy! Go to the 'Cursor Position' tab in Advanced Auto Clicker. Select the 'Specific Location' option. You have two ways to set the coordinates:
1. Manually Enter: Type the X and Y pixel values directly into the input fields if you know them.
2. Pick Location Hotkey: Click the 'Pick Location' button (it will show 'Press Pick Hotkey...'). Then, move your mouse cursor to the exact spot on your screen where you want the click to occur and press the designated Pick Location hotkey (default is 'P'). Advanced Auto Clicker will automatically capture and fill in the X and Y coordinates for you.
Can Advanced Auto Clicker click on multiple different spots on the screen?
Yes, this is one of its advanced features! Use the 'Location from List' option under the 'Cursor Position' tab. You can add multiple X,Y coordinates to a list (by picking them one by one or entering manually). Then, you can configure Advanced Auto Clicker to click these points either 'Sequentially' (in the order you added them) or 'Randomly'.
Will Advanced Auto Clicker work if its window is minimized or if I'm using another application?
Advanced Auto Clicker is designed with global hotkeys. This means that once you start the auto-clicking (using your Start hotkey), it will continue to click at the designated location(s) even if the Advanced Auto Clicker window itself is minimized or if you switch to another application. The hotkeys (Start, Stop, Pick Location) will also work globally. The only exception is if you're using 'Current Mouse Location' as the click target; in that case, clicks occur wherever your mouse cursor happens to be.
My antivirus software flagged Advanced Auto Clicker as a 'PUA' or 'Riskware'. Is it a virus?
No, it is not a virus if downloaded from our official site. Some overly cautious antivirus programs may use generic detection signatures that flag any tool capable of automating user input (like auto clickers or macro recorders) as a 'Potentially Unwanted Application' (PUA) or 'Riskware.' This is because such tools *could* theoretically be misused, not because Advanced Auto Clicker itself is malicious. We assure you our software is clean. You may need to add an exception for Advanced Auto Clicker.exe in your antivirus settings to use it without interruption.
How do I save my click settings and hotkeys for later use?
Go to the 'Settings & Hotkeys' tab. In the 'Configuration Management' section, you'll find 'Save Settings' and 'Load Settings' buttons. Click 'Save Settings' to save your current entire configuration (intervals, click options, hotkeys, click lists, etc.) to a settings file. You can then use 'Load Settings' to quickly restore that configuration in a future session.
The hotkeys (F6, F7, P) are not working. What should I do?
There are a few things to check:
1. Is Advanced Auto Clicker running? The application must be open for the hotkey listener to be active.
2. Hotkey Conflicts: Another application or game running on your system might be using the same hotkeys globally. Try changing the hotkeys in Advanced Auto Clicker (via the 'Settings & Hotkeys' tab) to a more unique combination (e.g., Ctrl+Alt+F6).
3. Administrator Privileges: In some rare cases, particularly if trying to click within applications running with administrator privileges, Advanced Auto Clicker itself might need to be run as an administrator for its hotkeys or clicks to register correctly. Right-click Advanced Auto Clicker.exe and choose 'Run as administrator'.
4. Keyboard Issues: Ensure your F-keys or other assigned keys are functioning correctly on your keyboard.
Can Advanced Auto Clicker press keyboard keys (e.g., type letters or press Enter)?
Advanced Auto Clicker is specifically designed as a mouse auto clicker. Its primary function is to automate mouse clicks (left, right, middle, single, double). It does not have built-in functionality to simulate arbitrary keyboard key presses like typing text, pressing Enter, Tab, Spacebar, etc., in other applications. The hotkeys it uses are for controlling Advanced Auto Clicker itself.
Is there a limit to how many clicks I can set for 'Repeat N Times'?
The 'Repeat Times' input field allows for a very large number of clicks (up to 1,000,000 in the current version). This should be sufficient for almost any task. If you need more, using 'Repeat until stopped' is the best option.
